Our Youngest Supporters

We are so excited to introduce you to our youngest supporters! Girl Scout Troop #2556 raised $2,835.10 in pursuit of their Bronze Award. Utilizing a variety of skills including a talent show, cookie sales, a dress down day at Annunciation School in Crestwood, direct person-to-person fundraising and the Facebook donate button, they raised enough to furnish a complete apartment for a young adult who is aging out of foster care PLUS bedding for another young adult. These girls have come to understand what “aging out” and “foster care” means. They have learned they are they MIGHTY when they work as a team. We were honored to meet them at their last meeting as they received their award! Congratulations to these girls and to their leaders, Ana Christina Alicea Diffley and Evelyn Lovisolo, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
